A new centre on wheels gives young people access to information, skills workshops and fun activities

 

. Get your game on and celebrate the launch of the most innovative youth service ever seen on the Central Coast - The BUS. Operated by RYSS The BUS is a youth centre on wheels, ready to go to wherever the need is most. More than $100,000 has been spent getting the bus operational and has resulted ina state of the art, multi functional facility that will travale from Gwandalan to Green Point, Woy Woy to Wadalba, Budgewoi to Bensville and San Remo to Spencer delivering services, activities, support and programs directly to those who need them the most.

"It creates a link with our young people, you know what they say about taking the mountain to Muhammad" RYSS research and development manager Chris Holstein said. " You cant build youth centres all over teh Coast but you can park one where its needed."

He said the fitout work performed by Skills Generator at West Gosford, included an 80 inch outdoor cinema screen, computers, Wi-Fi and a barbecue.
